CLIENT: AMERICAN BATTLEFIELD TRUST &
CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR SOCIETY

Medal of Honor Valor Trail

Copeland was brought in to create a ground up brand identity for a digital and physical trail linking all of the Medal of Honor recipients, past and present.

Working for a partnership between the American Battlefield Trust and the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, we created a new name, Valor Trail, a new identity, and a tagline, In the Footsteps of Heroes.

The Logo

The logo is the heart of the entire branding system. Built around the letter Q, the logo springs to life as a tree, representing the growth of the individual, fills the letterform. The leaves evoke ripples , and in its final form...a fingerprint.

About the System

The visual imaging system created a flexible set of design elements, assuring continuity across all applications. Proprietary patterns, iconography and corner elements and ultimately came together a full website introducing Valor Trail to the public.

How it works all together

All of the design elements, including a rich palette of colors that reflect those in the Medal of Honor, come together to create a unique look that will ultimately be expressed in banners, signage, merchandise and medals.
